This week our weekly Challenge runs through one of Bkoolers’ favorite places to pedal: the French Alps. If it’s also yours, you can’t miss it.
BKOOL CHALLENGE – COMPETE ON YOUR FAVOURITE ROUTE IN THE ALPS!
After our successful contest, “Where would you like to pedal?“, we’ve collected the results and we’re happy to announce that the most voted place in the world has been the French Alps. So as promised, we will be holding our next challenge on a route around the French Alps.
Between all the Bkoolers that start and finish the Challenge any one of the challenges will be entered into the raffle! We’ve got two Bkool drawstring bags and a 1-year Premium Subscription to give away! Are you ready for a session with loads of Bkoolers from around the world in the heart of the Alps?
See you in the Simulator Bkoolers!
A route of almost 100 km, the video being sent in by LarsSlette. You’ll visit the Norwegian province of Nordland, through the picturesque western area of Andøy. It has plenty of ups and downs, with a maximum slope of 8%. If you’re looking for a session just to put in some miles, but without killing yourself, this will become your favorite.
Cycling leg of this event held in June around the Lac de Joux. The area, located at an elevation of 1,000 m, is known for its winds, attracting sailing enthusiasts, so don’t be fooled thinking that it’s going to be a cake walk, as the wind can make it a tough one.
A ride west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 22 km running through Greenfield ParK. With less than 200 m. of ascent, it’s an easy session, although with some steep slopes that will probably get you up on your pedals. Thanks to Tom for shooting and editing the video.
Starting from the shores of the Coral Sea, in the small town of Cardwell, this is a very fast 21-km ride. The beginning of the route, ascending Forrest Drive, with a section of 700 m. at a 4% average grade, is the toughest part.
