BKOOL WINTER CUP – TAYMORY
Welcome to the third challenge of the Bkool Winter Cup. This week we’ve organised something very special, the opportunity to ride on stage 3 of the Tour de France 2018! Yes, that’s right – you’ll be racing against Bkoolers from all over the world on this 24km route that finishes in the town of Fontenay-le-Comte!
Our sponsor this week is Taymory and they’ve given us an epic prize! You could be the lucky winner of a brand new cycling jersey and shorts worth 185€!!!
To enter the raffle is simple. Choose the time that works best for you, open the Simulator 5 minutes before to pair your trainer and sensors, go to the homepage. At the time of the event, press refresh and scroll down to the LIVE section. You’ll see a session that has a yellow box with “featured” inside. Join this session. Everyone who joins during the first 10-minute warmup and finishes the session will be entered into the raffle.
A tough 23-km ride in a video shared by Alex Genna, from the Italian province of Trento. It’s all uphill, as you rack up more than 900 m of slope. With maximum grades exceeding 20% on some sections, it is quite a demanding workout.
A 20-km route through northwestern Ireland, starting from Ardara. After an initial 10 km tracing the coast, without much climbing, you’ll tackle the ascent of the Col du Crockuna. Then, after a short break, it’s time to take on the Col du Leamagowra. The ride ends at Glengesh Pass, offering spectacular views.
Philippe offers us this 56-km route south of Paris. Starting and finishing in the French town of Épinay-sous-Sénart, it is a session posing few major difficulties, as its few steep sections are short. A good option to get a workout lasting over an hour.
From the Tahoe Truckee airport we begin this 16-km, intermediate-difficulty session ending at Lake Tahoe. Brockway Summit is the challenge on this ride, with an average grade close to 5% for 7 km. The final part is a 5-km descent, so you can give it all you have at the end.
