First off…Merry Christmas!
To recover from these days of overindulgence, we suggest some different rides on our simulator.
BKOOL WINTER CUP – NORTHWEEK
Welcome to the fourth challenge of the Bkool Winter Cup. This week we are flying back to Spain to complete the final 9.5km of stage 9 from the Vuelta España 2011. This route has video view recorded from the lead motorbike, well worth riding using the video view!
Our sponsor this week is Northweek and they’ve given us 4 sunglasses to give away! That’s right, we’re going to have 4 winners this week and each one of you will be walking away with some of the coolest sunglasses on the planet!
To enter the raffle is simple. Choose the time that works best for you, open the Simulator 5 minutes before to pair your trainer and sensors, go to the homepage. At the time of the event, press refresh and scroll down to the LIVE section. You’ll see a session that has a yellow box with “featured” inside. Join this session. Everyone who joins during the first 10-minute warmup and finishes the session will be entered into the raffle.
A great video of the Vía Verde de Tajuña, shared by Fran. It’s a path along the old railway line. In this session you will pedal the section from Arganda del Rey to Perales de Tajuña. There isn’t much climbing on this one, and you’ll rack up 26 km.
A 17-kilometer session in which you will tackle the ascent of Monte Morra, located in the Lazio region, east of Rome. Departing from the Alfredo Barbieri Guidonia Airport, the approach is some 10 km, plus 7 kilometers of climbing, at an average grade of 8%, with some sections ranging up to 13%.
A route of 79 km, ideal for those days when you want to get a really long workout. Thanks to Ale Man for shooting and editing this ride in western England, visiting the cities of Treals, Inglewhite, Scorton and Lancashire. Although you’ll find some hills, it’s a mostly flat ride.
An easy 24-km ride, with few hills. It starts and finishes in the Dutch city of Belfeld, located by the border with Germany, so part of the session runs through German territory, in Heidemoore Park.
