We want you to start out 2018 by pedalling (what else?), for which we propose several options.
BKOOL WINTER CUP – EL CORTE INGLÉS
Welcome to the first stage of 2018, sponsored by El Corte Inglés!
This week not only have we prepared an epic route, but you could be starting the new year with a brand new fixie bicycle thanks to El Corte Inglés! We have up for grabs this week a B-Pro 28″ fixie worth 200€.
As per usual, we’ve got various different times for you to take part. Remember, we combine all the results.
To enter the raffle is simple. Choose the time that works best for you, open the Simulator 5 minutes before to pair your trainer and sensors, go to the homepage. At the time of the event, press refresh and scroll down to the LIVE section. You’ll see a session that has a yellow box with “featured” inside. Join this session. Everyone who joins during the first 10-minute warmup and finishes the session will be entered into the raffle.
Are you ready to start the new year with a new bike? You have nothing to lose and everything to win!
An out-and-back ride to the Danish municipality of Ejby, visiting Fjelsted and Hindevad along the way. A quick session with video, shot and edited by Cykelbasse, in which you must complete 24.5 km with 190 m of ascent, on quiet roads.
Snow Canyon State Park, Utah is the setting for this 30-km ride starting and finishing in St. George, the capital of Washington County. With a first part that is all uphill, it gets tougher as you go, until you reach the midpoint of the route, where you start your descent back towards the start. With about 500 m of slope, this is not a session that you should take on lightly.
Antonio shares this video route crossing the Balearic island of Ibiza from east to west, between the capital and Cala Conta. The passage through Sant Josep de sa Talaia makes it a bit of a challenge. 25 km, with 248 m of ascent, it’s a ride that you’re bound to want to do more than once.
A 21-km route through the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, where you will ride between the Ard and Venechar lakes. But don’t think it’s a cakewalk, as you’ll have to face the tough climb of Dukes Pass: 2 km at a 7% grade on average, with some sections verging on 11%. Fortunately, the rest of the route is much easier.
