The Arctic Race of Norway and Bkool are proud to announce a new partnership. Virtually ride the ARN stages with Thor Hushovd

With only a home trainer of any compatible brand, and an access to the Bkool online software, players from all around the world will have the possibility to enjoy the unique beauty of Northern Norway’s roads, and to challenge themselves on very demanding sections such as the climb towards Storheia Summit, the “Norwegian Mont Ventoux”, with 3,5 km at 11,8%. A competition will be organized by Bkool, starting on Monday 5th August, in the presence of the event’s ambassadors Thor Hushovd and Gunn Rita Dahle. The best riders will be rewarded with exclusive Arctic Race of Norway prizes.

A new training program for the Arctic Heroes of Tomorrow Race

Bkool’s unique technology will also contribute to the development of the Arctic Heroes of Tomorrow Race, the official juniors’ race organized together by Equinor (Main Partner of the ARN), the Norwegian Cycling Federation, and ARN.

120 young talents from all around the country and five international countries (France, Germany, England, Scotland, Finland) will compete in Narvik on Sunday 18th August, on the same circuit as the professionals. On the days before, all of them will have the opportunity to enter a virtual training ride, on the exact same circuit, allowing them to test the Narvik circuit and prepare their strategies for the actual Arctic Heroes of Tomorrow Race.

Javier Cepedano, Marketing and Sales Director of Bkool: “This is a great partnership for us – marrying our sophisticated cycling simulator with the best race organizer in cycling, allowing both parties to perform to the highest of standards, with global recognition. The Bkool simulator creates realistic representations of the road and race condition, through its thousands of routes, perfectly replicating the distance, road gradients, slipstream, landscapes and weather of outdoor cycling.  So, for anyone wishing to experience what the riders endure during the Arctic Race of Norway, we can now offer the opportunity to do so, from the comfort of their own home and competing with other cyclists from other parts of the world”.

Knut-Eirik Dybdal, Managing Director of the Arctic Race of Norway: “We are very happy to initiate this collaboration with Bkool. With this new partnership, any rider will be able to experience Northern Norway’s beauty in the same conditions as the pro riders competing in the Arctic Race of Norway. This clearly corresponds to our key focus, which is to make the Arctic Race of Norway a promotional platform for Norway at the international scale..
