Between 11th and 18th April, Deceuninck – Quick-Step joined BKOOLers on the cobblestones of the Hell of the North in a unique virtual experience.

Deceuninck – Quick-Step teamed up with BKOOL to recreate 14 km of the famous pavé of Northern France in a unique virtual experience. BKOOLers had the opportunity to ride alongside four stars from the No. 1 team in the UCI rankings.

Almost 200 riders joined us on Sunday 11th April for the Group Ride with the big four of Deceuninck – Quick-Step. A Group Ride where the first places were close from the very beginning and where you all showed your best. This event has left us with memorable comebacks, a lot to talk about with our group mates and an experience to remember for the rest of our lives.

Leading the way was Danish national champion Kasper Asgreen, fresh from winning the Ronde van Vlaanderen, who rode alongside Belgian classics specialist Yves Lampaert. Joining them were French pavé expert Florian Senechal and 2021 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad winner Davide Ballerini from Italy.

Cyclists from across the five continents came together to make this unique route their challenge of the week. With 2231 participants in just seven days, Bkoolers from 47 countries took part in the Group Rides of The Wolfpack: A day in hell.

All together you rode a total of 31680.2 km, which is equivalent to riding the famous US Route 66 more than eight times or the spectacular Australian Great Ocean Road 130 times. We’re sure you’ve burned off a whole month’s worth of sweets for Bkoolers!

The user Txispas69 achieved the best time of the whole week, completing the route in just 18 minutes and 16 seconds, a record!
