This summer we’re determined to break the rules with a challenge for you!

Imagine a Tuesday afternoon in July, four o’clock in the afternoon, with a gentle breeze coming through the window, you in your armchair watching the Tour de France on TV. It sounds like the perfect plan for after lunch in the middle of summer, but evenings can be even more exciting if you know how to make the most of them.

Now imagine that a few hours later, at eight o’clock, you’re the one conquering one of cycling’s most famous mountain passes, competing with your friends on the same stage where the pros were giving their best. The perspective changes, doesn’t it?

Watching cycling from the armchair is fine, but true lovers of two wheels know that to enjoy this sport you have to live it from the inside, suffering and sweating.

This challenge is only for true cycling enthusiasts – are you one of them, it’s time to prove it!

Tour France with Stage of the Day

I’m sure that more than once you’ve wondered how hard it must be to complete a grand tour. Those never-ending stages, the mountain passes with those wall-like climbs and those explosive sprint finishes with a hundred and fifty kilometres to go?

To race a grand tour like the Tour requires a level of preparation and training only within the reach of professional teams. But thanks to BKOOL, you too can complete your own grand tour, following the international peloton on routes that run through the same areas as its stages.

If it’s your turn today to climb the Col de la Couillole, you’ll also have to face its slopes. If the peloton moves to the Pyrenees, you will also do so during these days by climbing the mountain passes on video that will transport you there. If the finish line is in Dijon, then you will travel to this beautiful town on a route through the surrounding area. The aim is to always be in the same area as the peloton, riding in the same places as the best cyclists in the world, gritting our teeth as we climb the same mountain passes or simply enjoying a pleasant ride in the sunshine in Monaco with your group and your group mates.

The Challenge

Each day, Stage of the Day will take you to a different location, with a special route to ride in the same areas as the world’s best cyclists.

The challenge is simple: complete the Stage of the Day every day there is a stage in the Tour. A total of 21 stages in 23 days.

Yes, as you can see, you will also be able to enjoy rest days, specifically on the 8th and 15th of July.

You have the whole day to do each of the routes, which will always appear in the PROMO section of the simulator. Every morning (European time) we will change the Stage of the Day to continue with our particular pursuit of the international peloton.

The Prizes

At the end of the Tour, if you have managed to complete all the stages in the proposed days, send an email to socialmedia@bkool.com using your BKOOL user email address. Once we check that you have completed the Challenge, we will add 20,000 Bkoins to your account so that you can buy the virtual bikes and the new jerseys available in our simulator.
